Our products are a tad pricy compared to the stuff you find at your local pharmacy. That’s because all our products are North American made and are up to the quality standard we intended so we could make sure we’re selling you what’s on the label.
We’re expensive because we made sure nobody cheaped out.
Cruelty-free
There’s a reasonable explanation as to why animal testing products was a thing back in the day, we didn’t know what was safe and what wasn’t. Nowadays, we know what’s safe to a degree that a smaller brand like us can offer a product we’re confident is GRAS. The testing’s already been done so unless it’s a completely new compound or untested mixture, we will not sell any product that’s tested on animals. Why cause further harm?
Paraben-free when possible
Parabens are a great stabilizer for food, cosmetics and skincare products because they reduce yeast and mold growth in your products. This means they extend the shelf-life so producers can order in bulk to give you better prices.
The problem is they’re linked with hormonal disruption, cancer and (in rare cases) allergies.
So at Aenori, we’re committed to avoiding parabens unless the product is particularly unstable or likely to be denatured by the time it gets to you without parabens. There’s no point in freaking out about them but we’ll help you reduce your exposure wherever possible by not using preservatives at all or using natural preservatives like phenoxyethanol and benzoic acid where it makes sense.
